Sometimes, your verification documents may not be approved by your mailbox location on the first submission. Don’t worry—this does not mean your mailbox account is being closed. It simply means you may need to review your documents and provide additional ones if necessary.
If the rejection is due to an incorrectly completed form, you can download the USPS Form 1583 and follow the step-by-step guide here. Once the new form is filled out, you may use this link to access the online notary.
After everything is complete, you can simply log into your account and the status bar will advise you to upload new files:
Once you click on the blue, ‘Upload New Files’ button, you will see a note from your mailbox location advising on what you need to submit (additional) for your application to be approved:
Click on ‘Upload Files’ to add additional files.
Once you are done, click on ‘Submit for Review’ for your mailbox location to review your application again.
