Once you have signed up for your new virtual mailbox you will need to verify your identity first.
- The US Postal Service requires that your identity be verified before you can start receiving mail. To do this, log in to your account and click on the blue Complete Renter Verification link.
- Follow the steps provided. You will need access to a laptop or desktop computer and two pieces of identification for online notarization. You can also download the 1583 form and bring it to the mailing center for in-person verification.
- Once you submit the necessary documents, wait for your mailbox application to be approved.
After verification has been completed and your application has been approved, you can then start receiving mail!
- Once your mailbox application is approved, you can start using your mailbox address to receive mail.
- When the mail center operator receives a mail item for you, they will take a picture of the front of the envelope or the package label and upload it to your dashboard for you to see.
Once you receive a notification that mail has arrived at your mailbox location for you, you can then log into your account and take action on your mail items.
- When you receive mail, you must request an action on your mail items to avoid storage fees.
