How Anytime Mailbox Works

Step 1: Sign Up & Verify Your Identity

Before you can start receiving mail, you must complete identity verification as required by the U.S. Postal Service (USPS).

How to Verify Your Identity:

  1. Log in to your Anytime Mailbox account.

  2. Click on the blue "Complete Renter Verification" link.

  3. Follow the on-screen steps. You’ll need:

    1. laptop or desktop computer

    2. Two forms of identification for online notarization

  4. Alternatively, you can download the USPS 1583 form and visit your mail center for in-person verification.

Once you submit the required documents, your mailbox application will be reviewed and approved.

Step 2: Start Receiving Mail

Once your mailbox is approved, you can begin using your assigned mailbox address to receive mail.

How It Works:

  • When a mail item arrives, the Mail Center Operator will scan the front of the envelope or package label and upload it to your dashboard.

  • You’ll receive a notification once new mail is available.

  • Log in to your account to view your mail and take action.

Step 3: Manage Your Mail Items

To avoid storage fees, you must take action on your mail. Available options may vary based on your mail center operator and service plan, and some actions may incur additional fees.

Available Mail Actions:

Mail Forwarding – Ship your mail to another address.
Open & Scan Mail – Request a scan of your mail contents.
Renter Mail Pick-Up – Pick up your mail at the mail center.
Mail Recycling – Have unwanted mail recycled.
Mail Shredding – Securely destroy sensitive documents.

Step 4: Stay Connected with the Anytime Mailbox App

Download the Anytime Mailbox Renter App to manage your mail on the go and never miss important notifications.

Download Anytime Mailbox App:

Your Anytime Mailbox portal and Renter App are available 24/7, giving you access to your mail at any time. However, processing times for services like Open & Scan, Forwarding, or Pick-Ups depend on your Mail Center Operator’s business hours.
