Using Desktop and Mobile Website Modes for Verification, ID Uploads, and Billing

When navigating the Anytime Mailbox platform, certain account features such as online notary links, ID uploads, and full billing information behave differently depending on the device and browser mode you are using.

Knowing when to switch between Desktop Site and Mobile Website modes ensures a smooth process for account verification, uploading documents, and managing billing information across all devices.

When to Use Desktop vs. Mobile Website Mode

    • Desktop Mode (or Desktop Browser): Recommended for full account portal navigation, including complete access to Billing & Payment details, managing account settings, and locating application verification action buttons (such as online notary prompts) on tablets like iPads or Android tablets.

    • Mobile Website Mode: Necessary when completing ID camera capture or photo uploads through third-party notary portals (e.g., OneNotary) on a smartphone, as desktop modes on mobile browsers can block camera integration.

Tablet Steps (iPad & Android): Requesting Desktop Site to Locate Verification Buttons

Mobile browsers on tablets often display a simplified view that can hide critical application buttons (such as the blue notarization or verification button). Switching to the desktop view reveals the full layout.

    • Safari (iPad / iOS)

    1. Open your Anytime Mailbox account portal in Safari.

    2. Tap the aA icon on the left side of the address bar at the top.

    3. Select Request Desktop Website from the menu. The page will refresh and display the full desktop layout.

    • Google Chrome (Android Tablets & iPad)

    1. Open your account portal in Google Chrome.

    2. Tap the Three Dots Menu (⋮ or ...) in the top-right corner.

    3. Check the box or tap Desktop site (or Request Desktop Site).

Alternative Option: If online notarization issues persist on tablet devices, you can complete in-person verification directly at your designated local mail center. Contact your mail center ahead of time to confirm availability before visiting; completing verification in person bypasses the online notarization requirement.

Smartphone Steps (iOS & Android): Switching to Mobile Website Mode for ID Uploads

If you click an online notary link (such as OneNotary) on a smartphone to take a photo of your ID and encounter an error page, your browser may be stuck in Desktop Mode. Third-party notary camera integrations require mobile website mode.

    • Safari (iPhone / iOS)

    1. Tap the aA or Page Settings icon on the left side of the address bar.

    2. Select Request Mobile Website.

    3. Refresh the page and re-attempt the ID photo submission.

    • Google Chrome (Android Smartphones)

    1. Tap the Three Dots Menu (⋮) in the top-right corner.

    2. Uncheck Desktop site to return to the mobile-optimized website mode.

    3. Refresh the page and re-attempt the photo submission.

    • Samsung Internet (Android)

    1. Tap the Menu icon (three horizontal lines ≡) in the bottom-right corner.

    2. Select Mobile site view (or toggle off Desktop site).

    3. Refresh the page to complete your ID upload.

4. Accessing Billing & Payment Details

Certain sections of the Anytime Mailbox platform, specifically full billing histories and saved payment details under Billing > Payment are restricted on standard mobile phone web browsers.

To view saved payment cards or billing details on mobile devices:

    1. Use the Anytime Mailbox Customer Mobile App(Verified Accounts): Download and log in via the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

    2. Access via Desktop Browser: Log into www.anytimemailbox.com using a computer or tablet in Desktop Sitemode.
