How to Locate Your Anytime Mailbox Account or Investigate Unrecognized Charges

Whether you need help identifying an unrecognized fee on your card statement or locating an existing Anytime Mailbox account, our support team is available to assist.

Providing
accurate account information ensures our Customer Support team can quickly resolve your request.

1. Information Needed to Locate an Account

If you reach out to us using an email address different from the one on file or if you have lost access to your portal our support team may not be able to immediately locate your account. To help us locate your account and verify ownership, please provide as many of the following details as possible:

    • Account Email Address: The email address used during initial signup.

    • Company Name: If registered under a business entity.

    • Renter ID: Found in your account profile or past email notifications.

    • Mailbox Number & Address: The specific virtual mailbox location assigned to you.

    • Card Details for Verification:

      • The last 4 digits of the credit card charge.

      • Card expiration date.

      • Card type (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, etc.).

If you are missing the exact email address, providing at least two of the identifiers listed above allows our team to search our billing system and verify your identity.

2. Investigating Unexpected or Charges Tied to Another Account

If you see an unexpected charge on your bank statement that does not match your primary account records, your payment details may be associated with a second account or authorized user.

When investigating unauthorized or unrecognized deductions, please provide:

    • A screenshot or receipt of the transaction.

    • The last 4 digits and card type of the card charged.

    • Any alternative email addresses you may own.

    • Confirmation on whether a family member, household member, business partner, or coworker may have used your payment method to set up a separate account.

Note on Subscriptions: Anytime Mailbox operates as a recurring subscription service (similar to digital streaming platforms). Charges apply on a monthly basis until an account is formally canceled, regardless of active usage.

3. Account Cancellation Security Policy

To protect account security and personal data, cancellation requests are governed by strict verification requirements:

    • Requests Sent from a Different Email: If you request to cancel a mailbox registered under a different email address, support cannot process the cancellation from an unlinked email address. You must either submit the request directly from the registered email account or log into the web portal on a desktop/laptop computer to process the cancellation under Settings > Close Account.

    • Identity Protection: Requiring direct verification from the registered email ensures unauthorized third parties cannot alter or close your mailbox service. Cancellation of an account can only be processed by the account holder or the name on the account.

4. Post-Cancellation & Portal Access

Once an account cancellation is confirmed, it is scheduled to take effect at the end of your current paid billing period.

    • Access Restrictions: After account closure is finalized, access to the online portal and mail management features will end.

    • USPS Address Policy: Per postal guidelines, the United States Postal Service (USPS) does not allow standard change-of-address/forwarding orders for virtual mailbox addresses. You must update your address directly with senders prior to account closure.

    • Mail Forwarding: Any post-cancellation mail forwarding arrangements must be coordinated directly with your local mailbox partner, and additional fees may apply.

    • Reactivation: Canceled accounts cannot be reactivated; a new registration is required if you wish to use the service again in the future.
