Open and scan request is when you instruct the operator to open your mail item and scan its contents to view it online. 

To request Open and Scan Mail follow these steps: 

  • Log in to your Dashboard or Anytime Mailbox Renter App

  • Go to your Inbox, select the mail item you want to scan

  • Click on the Actions button and select Open and Scan. A pop up window will appear to input additional information if you have specific instructions for the operator when they perform the open or scan on your mail item

  • Click Submit to complete the open and scan request.

When an Open & Scan request has been completed, you will receive a notification. Please select a Final Action Request (Forward, pick up, shred or discard) on the mail item. Mail items left unattended may incur storage fees. To do this, click Action Required and select a Final Action Request.

Note: You can print and download scanned items to your computer! Just click on the mail item and select Print or Download button at the top, right next to the Actions button.
