I’m trying to see if I qualify for a free PO Box? I’m homeless at the moment and I’m staying at the hotel.

We understand how important it is to have a secure, stable address especially during difficult times. While Anytime Mailbox does not currently offer free virtual mailboxes or PO Boxes, we truly care about helping individuals find the resources they need.

If you are experiencing homelessness and currently staying in a hotel, here are a few suggestions that may help:

1. Local Nonprofit Organizations or Shelters

Many local community organizations, shelters, and churches offer free or low-cost mail receiving services for people experiencing homelessness. You can search terms like:

  • “Free mail service for homeless in your city”

  • “Local shelter with mail service”

2. USPS General Delivery

You can also receive mail temporarily through USPS General Delivery if you do not have a permanent address:

Visit a local post office and ask if they offer “General Delivery” service.

Mail can be sent to:

Your Name

General Delivery

City, State ZIP Code

You’ll need a valid ID to pick it up.

3. Paid Mailbox Plans

If you're able to pay a small monthly fee, you can explore our lower-cost plans at locations near you:

While we don't currently offer free accounts, we hope to expand accessibility options in the future.
