Need your mail forwarded to a different location but would like to get a quote first of how much the shipping will cost? The app allows you to quickly submit a forwarding request with options tailored to your preferences. Here’s how to do it:
Step 1. Log In to the App
Begin by logging into the app using your credentials. Once you're in, you'll see your main dashboard.
Step 2. Access Your Inbox
From the dashboard, tap on the Inbox section to view all the mail items you’ve received.
Step 3. Select the Mail Item You Want to Forward
Browse through your inbox and tap on the mail item you'd like to have forwarded. This opens the detailed view of the selected item.
Step 4. Tap the Thunder Icon
In the top-right corner of the screen, tap the thunder icon. This brings up a menu of action requests you can make for that specific mail item.
Step 5. Select “Forwarding” from the Action Requests
From the menu that slides up, tap on “Forwarding”. This will open a new page where you can customize your forwarding preferences.
Step 6. Choose Your Service Preferences
On the forwarding request page, you’ll see a section titled “Service Preference.” Here, select the shipping option that best suits your needs:
Fastest
Least Expensive
Least Expensive 2-Day Delivery
Least Expensive Overnight
Step 7. Select a Fulfillment Type
Under “Fulfillment Type,” you can choose whether you want to:
Ship immediately
Request a quote first – This option allows you to receive the estimated shipping cost before the operator processes your request
Step 8. Choose Whether You’d Like Tracking
Under the “With Tracking” field, tap and select “Yes” if you'd like to receive tracking details once the package has been sent. If you don’t need tracking updates, you can select “No.”
Step 9. Add Additional Notes (Optional)
At the bottom of the screen, there's a field for additional notes. If you have any special instructions or information you'd like the operator to know, simply type them in.
To submit the notes and complete your forwarding request, you can:
Tap “Done” on your phone’s keyboard
ORTap the ✔️checkmark icon in the top-right corner
Step 10. Confirmation
After submission, a confirmation pop-up will appear indicating that your forwarding request has been successfully sent. It will also indicate that if you select “Request a Quote,” the operator will prepare a quote for the shipping fee and send it to you for approval before moving forward.
You’ve successfully requested forwarding for your mail item. Once processed, you’ll be notified of any updates—such as tracking details or shipping quotes—right through the app.
