Understanding Forwarding Charges: Why Fees May Vary and How They Are Calculated

Forwarding costs vary based on the service plan you are subscribed to. The total cost depends on two main factors:

  • Handling Fees – most plans charge a handling fee per forwarding request, while others do not.

  • Shipping Fees – These are set by the Operator and depend on the carrier  (USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc.), package's weight, destination, and service preference (fastest, least expensive etc.)

To check your service plan allowances, log in to your portal and navigate to:
Billing > Usage.

Plan-Specific Forwarding Charges

  • Per Shipping Bundle – You can request multiple mail items to be forwarded together for a set fee, in addition to shipping costs.

  • Per Request – You are charged per individual mail item you request to be forwarded  on top of the shipping costs.

  • No Handling Fee – Some plans do not charge a handling fee, and you only pay the carrier’s shipping cost.

Important Billing Information

  • Shipping fees are charged immediately once the operator completes your request and will reflect in your statement right away.

  • Handling fees (if applicable) will appear on your next invoice.

To check your statement, log in to your portal and navigate to: Billing > Statement. The description for shipping charges should look like this.

To determine shipping costs before placing the request, select "Request Quote" instead of "Ship Immediately" for fulfillment type.

If you requested a shipping quote, the operator will send it to you for approval before finalizing the shipment. For further information about requesting mail forwarding, click this link: [How to Request Mail Forwarding]

If you don't see the Request Quote option, contact your mail center operator directly for an estimate. Find their contact information (address, phone number, and email) on your Dashboard.

For any additional questions or concerns regarding forwarding costs, service plans, or billing details, you can:

  • Refer to your online portal for detailed billing and usage information.

  • Reach out to your mail center operator for specific inquiries related to your location’s services.
